Fall is in the air. We have entered into the first month of the 4th quarter of this year. What I love about entering into this season is the change in the colors. You can still see green grass and leaves on the trees with hues of red and orange.
What’s interesting is no matter the ups and downs of the weather, nature (trees, plants, flowers, and especially weeds) continue to fulfill their purpose in that season despite the varying weather conditions. My favorite pass time is watching the trees in the changing seasons.
What am I trying to say; despite the outside elements we have to change with the seasons to fulfill our purpose like the trees. No matter what stage of life you’re in, your season of life will change, for better or worse.
There are times in life when we plant or prepare for new adventures, other times we receive the benefits of our earlier work. Some seasons in our lives are desolate, barren, and quiet; other seasons are busy, chaotic and exhausting.
Each season prepares us for the blessing or burden of the next season to come. If you find yourself in the freshness and beauty of spring, enjoy it—relax, rest, and savor each moment!
If you find yourself in the lonely, bitter cold of winter, be encouraged that no season lasts forever. There is hope of the spring in the dead of winter.
The beauty of seasons is that they change!
In everything Changing Seasons sets out to do, I want to encourage and equip you with the promise that in every season, there is hope and joy to be uncovered!
